The program is based on the idea that through motivation, education and accountability, students will become inspired to work harder in school and aspire for education beyond high school graduation. Our mentors are all volunteers that help lead and encourage our youth so they feel confident and assured that no matter their circumstances, they can overcome and achieve more. The YMCA of Florida&#8217;s First Coast is pleased to be the only Y in the state to partner and head the Take Stock in Children program in Clay County. We believe that by combining our mission to\u00a0nurture the potential of every youth and teen, improve the nation\u2019s health and well-being and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors, we can truly strengthen the foundations of community.<\/p>\n<p>You can get involved today by <a href=\"https:\/\/portfolio.curran-connors.com\/FCYMCA\/?p=7164\">volunteering<\/a>, mentoring or donating.
