Chair support can be used to facilitate standing stability and seated exercise options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SilverSneakers\u00ae EnerChi classes have numerous benefits for all levels!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build strength, stability, and endurance<\/li>\n<li>Improve proprioception and self-awareness<\/li>\n<li>Increase balance and stability<\/li>\n<li>Increase flexibility and range of motion<\/li>\n<li>Increase core strength<\/li>\n<li>Improve bone density<\/li>\n<li>Boost mood and energy<\/li>\n<li>Improve sleep patterns<\/li>\n<li>Improve functional movement patterns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tips and Preparation<\/h3>\n<p><strong>For the best possible experience, new SilverSneakers\u00ae EnerChi class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor and to have time to gather and set up equipment.  No experience is necessary!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Y provides any needed equipment for this class.<\/li>\n<li>Come to class dressed ready to move your body.  Wear comfortable, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow.<\/li>\n<li>Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit.  Open-toed and\/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize options as needed!<\/li>\n<li>Please bring water and a sweat towel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Not all classes are offered at all locations.
