These classes offer the same high-energy as our dance classes, but with lower impact to the joints.  Classes such as Low Impact, Line Dancing, AOA Dance, and Zumba\u00ae Gold offer exhilarating and community-building fitness fun!  These classes are also wonderful for those newer to dance fitness and exercise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Low Impact Dance classes have numerous benefits for all levels!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tone and strengthen muscles<\/li>\n<li>Increase aerobic and cardiovascular endurance<\/li>\n<li>Improve proprioception and self-awareness<\/li>\n<li>Increase balance and stability<\/li>\n<li>Increase core strength<\/li>\n<li>Improve bone density<\/li>\n<li>Improve functional movement patterns<\/li>\n<li>Lose weight, or maintain weight loss<\/li>\n<li>Increase energy<\/li>\n<li>Improve agility and coordination<\/li>\n<li>Reduce stress and boost mood<\/li>\n<li>Improve brain function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tips and Preparation<\/h3>\n<p><strong>For the best possible experience, new class participants are encouraged to arrive to class early to meet the instructor.  No experience is necessary!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come dressed ready to move your body.  Wear comfortable, functional workout clothing made of breathable material to allow air flow.  Clothing that allows for freedom of movement is recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Wear proper athletic shoes with a comfortable fit.  Open-toed and\/or open-backed shoes, slides, and Crocs will not be permitted.  Cross-training shoes designed for lateral movement are highly recommended.<\/li>\n<li>Please bring water and a sweat towel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>*Not all classes are offered at all locations.
