Nutritionally balanced meals will be provided free of charge for all children 18 years and younger.<\/p>\n<p>The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was established to ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals during summer break. Free meals that meet federal nutrition guidelines are provided at approved SFSP sites like Tiger Academy, where there are significant concentrations of low-income children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur Summer Food Program will help kids stay well-nourished, active and energized,\u201d said Charles McWhite, Tiger Academy Principal. \u201cIt will also provide some relief to families who need support in providing more food when school is out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meals will be served at the following times and location:<\/p>\n<p>Tiger Academy<br \/>\n6079 Bagley Road<br \/>\nJacksonville, FL 32209<br \/>\nBreakfast:<br \/>\n8:15am \u2013 9:00am<\/p>\n<p>Lunch:<br \/>\n11:30am \u2013 1:00pm<\/p>\n<p>Meals will be provided to children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin. This program is only approved for geographical areas of need where 50 percent or more of the children qualify for free and reduced-priced meals during the school year.<\/p>\n<p>###<\/p>\n<p>Tiger Academy<br \/>\nAt Tiger Academy, a free public school, we approach the education of each child with a commitment to helping him or her grow in spirit mind and body.
