William Nash, Jr. Legend Award for Community Partner of the Year. Presented at the 9th Annual Y-Bash held at the University of North Florida Lazzara Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, February 26, the award acknowledges the Bailey Group for their longstanding support of the Y.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to recognize the outstanding contributions the Bailey Group has made to strengthen the First Coast community for over 50 years,\u201d said Eric K. Mann, YMCA of Florida\u2019s First Coast President and CEO. \u201cSince John Bailey Sr. first joined the old Railroad YMCA in downtown St. Augustine in 1954, the Bailey Group has been an integral part of the Y from making generous donations and serving on multiple branch advisory boards to teaching swimming lessons and coaching youth sports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Bailey Group is one of the largest insurance and benefits firms in the State of Florida and is a 4-time Gold Level Award winner for Healthiest Companies in NE Florida.<\/p>\n<p>YMCA of Florida\u2019s First Coast recognizes its staff, volunteers and community partners annually at the Y-Bash, an event celebrating their community impact through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. At this year\u2019s event, the Y announced its funding priorities for the following year and its goal to raise $1.75 million. The Y\u2019s four funding priorities are:<\/p>\n<p>Safety Around Water<\/p>\n<p>Uplifting Teens<\/p>\n<p>Supporting Our Military<\/p>\n<p>Hunger Relief<\/p>\n<p>Funding these priorities and the dedication of community partners such as The Bailey Group helps the Y build a strong, supportive foundation for the communities it serves. Past recipients of the E.
