JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Jan. 28, 2019<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 The YMCA of Florida\u2019s First Coast, The Jaguars Foundation and Bold Events are teaming up to present the largest citywide family group exercise event\u2014Family Fitness Fusion\u2014on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 9:00 a.m. \u2013 12:30 p.m. The entire community is invited to take part in this unique FREE experience at Daily\u2019s Place Flex Field at the home of the Jaguars.<\/p>\n

The event will offer something for everyone including a mashup of group fitness favorites, free YMCA childcare, bounce houses, slides and games, plus the NFL Play 60 Football Challenge for adults and children hosted by The Jaguars Foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Y always seeks to find innovative, challenging and fun ways to get the First Coast community active,\u201d said YMCA of Florida\u2019s First Coast President and CEO Eric K. Mann. \u201cThanks to the Jaguars for allowing us to share this one-of-a-kind event with adults and families across the city. Together are we making the First Coast stronger and healthier.<\/p>\n

The schedule for the day is as follows:<\/p>\n

9:00am<\/p>\n

Doors Open<\/p>\n

9:30am – 10:30am<\/p>\n

NFL Play 60 Challenge<\/p>\n

9:30am \u2013 12:30pm<\/p>\n

Bounce Houses, Slides & Games<\/p>\n

10:45am – 11:00am<\/p>\n

Family Group Exercise<\/p>\n

11:00am – 12:30pm<\/p>\n

Group Exercise Mashup<\/p>\n

The group exercise portion of the event will offer a wide variety of classes such as Zumba, yoga, line dancing and more. Adults and children older than 5 can also participate in the NFL Play 60 Football Challenge. Free childcare will be available on site for kids ages 1 \u2013 4. They will be supervised by the First Coast YMCA\u2019s certified, professional KidZone staff. Because space is limited for childcare and the NFL Play 60 Challenge, registration is required by texting FITNESS to 91999.<\/p>\n
